Walker Awning was founded by Pete Walker in 1980. We have built thousands of awnings in South Florida and continue to serve new and returning clients with the same integrity, attention to detail, and unmatched quality. Our in-house fabrication and installation capabilities allow us to create lasting design solutions that optimize outdoor shade and comfort.

We believe in giving our customers detailed and earnest advice and guidance. We are engineers and builders, specializing in outdoor shade structures, but we are well versed in all aspects of design and construction. We've modified out best practices over the years in response to what works in our challenging climate.

There isn't always a perfect or easy solution, and the materials we work with have limitations, but we will do our best to think outside of the box and properly advise our clients on realistic outcomes of their proposed projects.

Our work is exceptional because our people are exceptional. Our lead installers have an average of over 30 years in the business. We use tried and true materials and methods in our fabrication shops which are overseen by veterans of the industry, most of whom have been at Walker Awning for over 20 years.
