Carports & Porte Cocheres

Covered parking and sheltered arrivals add everyday comfort and useful amenities to homes, offices, clubs and commercial properties. A carport protects parked vehicles from sun and rain, while a porte cochere creates a covered area for passengers to enter and exit.

Walker offers fabric-covered and fixed aluminum systems, with profiles ranging from clean, straight rooflines to curved and arched forms. The right configuration depends on the architecture, available space, vehicle circulation and intended use.

Clearance, column placement, spans, attachments, drainage and applicable wind-load requirements guide the design. For fabric-covered structures, a suitable frame can allow future cover replacement without replacing the entire system.
